How has Beating Eating Disorders helped you?

Where are you in your recovery journey?
Not the beginning and most definitely not the end but not really the middle either. I guess I’m just in it and I’ll go wherever it takes me and fight whatever fight I gotta fight because I am committed to life.
What are your future recovery orientated goals?
prove that ED’s don’t discriminate by race or socioeconomic status, and that recovery is worth it
What is the most helpful thing someone has said to you? What has been the most harmful?
Whatever you choose to do, I will love you. -Mom

Share some of your recovery insight.

Is there anything else you would like to add that you want people to know? Any advice to give to fellow sufferers?
your adventure is yours. Don’t get thrown off when someone tries to give you a map. It’s their map, not yours
